Illinois has talent but it will take a while to gel. They look far from fluid, and they don’t protect the rim.

@TL1961 did you watch it? Thank God UW went back to his roots and installed a high tempo offense. Those Kofi/Ayo teams were boring to watch.

I watched the last 8 minutes or so. Worked late so I missed much of it.
I like the up tempo. Not sure how northwestern slowed them down so much but most games have been at the tempo the Illini want to play.
