Predictably, Jim Nantz is already feeding the tOSU for #1 if they win the BTT. 4 losses and an OT win in their last 6, but win two more and it somehow bests what Illinois and Michigan did all year. Same ol' crap.

OK, Illini. Just win, baby!

Illinois is a lock #1. They are probably pretty close to Baylor for the 2 overall if they win tomorrow. Their resume is bonkers good, so many Quad1A wins, zero bad losses, in the last 2 weeks they've won @Michigan, @OSU, @WIS, neutral Iowa, neutral Rutgers, and if they win tomorrow neutral OSU. That would be four wins over top 10 teams in just over two weeks, none of them at home. That is ridiculous.

You have to wonder if Michigan drops a spot because Livers is out now. The NCAA will penalize because of significant injuries

Lunardi moved UI ahead of ahead of Michigan and said the #1 seeds are locked into their positions, Gonzage-Baylor-UI-Michigan.

Since the last tournament entry for Illinois, just think of this:
2 presidential elections
1 Cubs world series, 5 Cubs postseason trips
2 Blackhawks Cup wins
2 Bears postseason appearances
9 different Bears QB's take a snap--cutler, hoyer, bray, foles, trubisky, daniel, mccown, clausen, glennon

If a Power 5 team, in a 6 year stretch, were to go to the tourney 4 times, it would be bad IMO. Illinois missed six straight years. I wont count last year as prgram failure, but it does count in prolonging the wait. Inexcusable, and something I am confident I won't ever see again.
