Yes, Mack disappeared in the 2nd half as did just about everybody on the D as they let the gimpy QB comeback on them and humiliate them. But all he had to do was lead the team on 1 single FG scoring drive but he didn't have the intestinal fortitude. His passes were erratic and then, even when given second life by a Matthews penalty, the ***** fell completely apart. I wasn't joking when I said he lacks the warrior spirit and now all can see it.
You’re absolutely right and it might define him as a QB and we might be playing Daniels by week 8. The stats for our wide receivers was pathetic, almost everyone on the team averaged 5.5 yards per reception and the packers receivers all averaged well over 10 yards per catch except for 1 guy.
How many times are you going to lose yardage on a pass play??? We had like 5-7 of them. The bubble screens ran by our scrub receivers last year were much better.
We had all this talk about throwing it deep and we did once early and it worked but then never did it again until the 4th down play on last drive! Cohen was almost absent in the second half and we threw the ball on almost every 3 or 4th and short to no avail as they were either incomplete or the receiver ran a route too short for 1-4 yards?????
There were many single plays that cost them this game. Hicks had an easy fumble recovery but was too interested in celebrating his sack that he never realized the ball was laying between his two tree trunk arms- he then gassed out in the second half like virtually every other Chicago Bear. Fuller had an easy reception. There were a ton of missed tackles in second half.
