Who else would they go to in this situation after using Wells, Russell, and Camp. That leaves Marmol, Coleman, Bowden and Parker. I guess they could go to Coleman, but it seems like they are setting up Marmol who a low pressure chance to finish a game here.

That would be epic. I am not sure Sveum would give him enough rope to do that or not. But I have to guess Marmol is available today otherwise why not wait to make the move until after the game.

Indeed it is. Kind of surprised like I said. Will be interesting if the Padres get this into a save situation if Sveum lets Coleman work out of it or go to another arm.

Coleman hitting 94 with the fastball. He missed badly on the second time he threw it, but the first one was a strike at that speed.
