People sure do get tetchy about food round here, have none of you been to HHM cooking classes? Surely you all know how to boil an egg by now

It's not so much about the food, I have grown up in the restaurant business and raised by a family of cooks...so I know I can cook. When someone calls me dense when they are the one not grasping what is being said, than you have to treat them like a dog pissing on the carpet and put them in their place to correct the bad behavior. Had he just said that my suggestion sounded like shit, than I couldn't disagree...it was just an easy/cheap suggestion for someone who may not be comfortable in the kitchen to do something nice for his wife to make up for forgetting their anniversary.

I didn't think posters would skip over the fact that I said "If you don't know how to make chicken parm from fresh ingredients", meaning if he does than use fresh ingredients and don't use frozen chicken tenders. I should have known better that most only read the parts they want to read and not comprehend what is actually being said.
