Im distantly related to the former drummer of Lynard Skynard (not the one that died), and the former King of Scotland.

My family comes from Italy, and has distant mafia relations.

My old house actually had a hole in the basement, leading to a ladder you take down. It leads to a room underground where they used to make alcohol when the abolition took place. It's completely flooded now, but you could still see the table on bottles rusted onto the table.

Yeah, I took a few pisses off the ladder into the water in my day.

Bobby Knoop is my grandfather's cousin.

In 1967 (I think) when the Angels were in Chicago on a road trip, Bobby brought teammates Jim Fregosi, Ed Kirkpatrick, and Jimmy Piersall to my grandparents' house for dinner (my mom and her siblings were all kids at the time)

My original descendants on mother's side were very early settlers from England, arriving around 1770. My Great-Great Grandfather fought @ Gettysburg, I have a hand-written copy of his discharge papers that were amazingly available through the National Historical Registry.

My aunt's first cousin is Mike Krzyzewski. One of my great, great, great, great uncles played a big part in helping to end the Civil War. Both of my grandfathers were at Normandy beach in WWII and both survived.

That's all I got for now.

My late Grandfather was summoned by Al Capone when he was ahving a rough day and asked him to play his violin to calm him down. He was also a Mason

My Late uncle was a Vice President for Brink's. His only Clients were "connected."

My other Late Grandfather was in WWII in the Alusians (sp). His hatred of fish came from the war as they would fish with dynamite.

My great-great grandparents were shot at while escaping Germany in WWI
