I need some help in understanding moderators on sports blogs, I am asking folks who are participating here if they have any tips for me and other sports blog readers. In no way is this a comment regarding this sports forum. I lost my comment priveleges on the 'Bright Side Of The Suns' SB Nation site. I am not here to whine, I just want to see if anybody else has been kicked off a sports blog, and what a person can to to get back on (at this point I seriously doubt it). Here is how I got the boot, when the Suns new owner blew up the Suns roster last season, I was not impressed. They traded away 5 first round draft picks for Kevin Durant, who I love, but he is 34 years old and has had a number of injuries the last few years. I just thought it was a wild risky move. Ironically, KD was actually injured when he was brought in, so he missed the first three weeks of his tenure. Each game the Suns played without him (they lost most of them) I would put a short comment in the mix that was a simple question "I wasn't able to watch the Suns game last night, how many points did KD have?" I did this about 4 games in a row, after the fourth time I got a message added to my post from someone, (must have been a moderator but it wasn't identified from a source) saying I should lay off those posts. Anyway I did the exact same thing a fifth time, that's when I got the boot. I made no ther comments, just that one sentence question. So, I followed the appeal process and sent numerous requests to the appeal address (which hysterically includes a statement that I would be contacted) asking what policy I violated. My question to the folks here is, has anybody else been booted from a sports blog, and is there anything I can do? Go Bears!
