Did you see the fish flop he did on Hard Knocks when CW announced his signing bonus? I think that’s very hard to replicate…. and appealing to a certain segment of the CCS community.

You don’t need to draft a backup QB. There are plenty around that can get you a passer rating better than a 71.4

I think the sentiment is not that it’s hard to replace but Bagent was a rookie last year in a bad situation and can get better

Bagent is easily replaceable and hasn't looked any better than Rypien, I can't imagine his value getting much higher than it is now. Turning him into a draft pick is a win especially if it's for more than a 6th rounder.

Between Bagent, Austin Reed or Rypien, this team has looked pretty loaded for the first time in history. They would possibly be doing Bagent a favor by trading him to a team where he has an opportunity to start.

Bagent has a number of positive traits that the Bears haven't seen in a while. But with a noodle arm. Makes for a potentially solid back up ala Brian Hoyer.

Just to clarify, bears are not loaded at qb. Rypien is a proven, really bad qb in actual nfl games. So bad that mcvay said "**** this guy", after 1 game
