Is it okay to recline your seat on an airplane?

Yes all airlines exit like that. Airlines don’t really have a “exit” boarding strategy but every airline and every plane I’ve ever rode on has exited row by row starting in the front and working their way back.

I’d love to hear about these airlines you travel on tho that do it differently
I always aisle and stand up as well... Not to race off the plane, but to stretch my legs and back after being stuck in a small seat that doesn't fit me very well for several hours.

I also 100% Attempt to fly non stop.

Big letters. I think I made him angry.

Anyways, I think I have proven my point.

Idk what the big deal is about people who stand up after the plane lands...that's completely reasonable to me. Like half the plane does it (usually all the aisle seat people), but it's not like they weren't going to stand up anyway.

I was just emphasizing how you were contradicting yourself. Would still love to hear which airlines you fly that don't exit the plane row by row, front to back. Literally never seen that in my life.

I have been in places before that exited from the front and the back at the same time. Basically the people in the middle seats got screwed. Still though it was orderly and from front to back or back to front and row by row.

Probably because the difference between paying a little more for coach from removing a few seats vs. how much first-class costs is massive.

Just a side note, I hate how first class spoils you. Sometimes for work I end up in first, but I refuse to shell out that kind of cash when traveling personally because I'm cheap. But sitting in coach makes me very sad. Also the lounges. Although sometimes I'll pay for day use for that if I have a long layover.

Yup. International F/J is sensational from check-in to landing. Domestically, I always fly Southwest and it really is such shit compared to the good stuff.

Standing up? Yeah, no harm in that. Bum-rushing the exit because you already have any carry-on luggage in hand while people are still getting up, no matter how slowly, is still a dick move, in my opinion. I did it once in Atlanta because I really had to piss and wasn't going to make it to the back of the airplane, and it just ends up slowing everything down more or at best getting you still stuck. I don't know what mensa-level ninja methods you can use to get out of just such a shitty situation that most people put up with as considerate fellow passengers, but clearly I will never know, either.

As far as leg room is concerned...I always get a great amount by planning ahead.
Granted, the majority of flying I do is from mke to Las Vegas and I am a southwest fan.
I get early check in, and always take the seat behind the emergency exit, window.
The way those planes are set up there is a wide gap due to there only being 2 seats in the emergency row.
Pop a couple sleep aids as I line up for boarding, grab the seat, buckle in, pop in ear plugs, pull my hat down over my eyes and use my hoodie as a pillow against the window... and lights out before we even take off. Legs stretched straight out and comfy, and it is usually the landing that wakes me up.

now that we live close to midway we are semi-voluntarily resigned to Southwest ourselves, and do the same.

I am way out in the boonies... o'hare is about 12 miles closer to me but time wise mke is the best bet.
Beyond that, parking is easier and cheaper and the security "line" is maybe 3 or 4 people.

First time I planned to fly out of there I was a little skeptical, but after flying out of there it is my favorite.

Never been to midway- I think it is 2 hours away for me.

I like the direct flight from ABQ to Midway on Southwest. Yes it's Southwest, but it's 2.5 hours and it's over.

I've gotten crawl-on-all-fours drunk at the sunport airport. ok, no I haven't (have been close), but it's not out of the realm of possibility. I do remember flying in there one night late and some woman in madrid had accidentally picked up my bag from the claim because it looked like hers. I drove 40 fucking minutes just to get my bag back. #state48.

Kudos to Southwest Airlines for identifying the error and culprit.

People in New Mexico will take your shit if you're not careful.

Hell I saw a guy steal a live lobster out of a tank in a restaurant a couple of weeks ago. Just grabbed that motherfucker by the tail and bailed.
