What is your opinion on the talent acquired via the draft or UDFA market. Is Jack Sanborn the best player Poles has acquired from two draft classes?

The OP is quite the piece of work. Is the end game, I’m smarter and better equipped than a NFL GM?

I’m pretty sure the bookend OTs are a bit better and I really like and appreciate Sanborn.

Even though he got pantsed on the last play, it’s Darnell Wright.

Sanborn far and away the best undrafted FA.

Yup it's full blown moral victory season on the Bears board.

That will carry into wait till next year season. Followed by complete meatball message board off season where every draft pick is going to be the guy that turns this team around for next year.

Y'all are great at ignoring the results on the field.

Man, remember when Mack took Brady's mind out of the game by eating Wirfs' lunch? That is what happens when you have a DE that is ready for the league and a tackle that is still learning. Sucks that that Wright is now going to be embarrassed on Hutchinson's highlight reel, but that is just football. Wright has to bounce back from this and use it as fuel to fight harder.

Sanborn is a UDFA that is worthy of starting. That is a real badge of honor for Poles. But talking about a best draft pick, all of Poles' draft picks are either rookies or second year players. While right now, I like the CBs that he has drafted a lot, their growth happens in spurts and is not yet apparent how they will take the next step. Poles could crush the next draft by finding an LT, DE, and interior rusher that give both the offense and defense a real edge against the competition.

Shit, if he gets a passable center in the next draft, whichever center that is will shoot to the top of my list overnight because this team has been awful at that spot for years. It wont be hard for a rookie to look like a HOF in comparison.
