He started out playing behind a fairly good TE.My concern with him, and it may be an irrational one, is that he didn’t become dominant until his fifth year. If it took him that long to separate from guys who (most of them) won’t ever play in the league, how long will it take him to become dominant against other pros?
Bowers was a stud the second he walked into Athens. And he was often times the obvious best player on the field in the SEC, even as a freshman.
Bowers and Warren don’t belong in the same conversation.
