Did I hear that correctly? Arrieta is the first pitcher in MLB to 15 wins this year?
Most underrated Cub....Chris Coghlan. That goes for both this year and last. Last year they threw into the lead off spot and did a real nice job of getting on base....this year they throw into the three hole and he starts launching HRs. The bonus is he plays both outfield and infield positions creditably. On top of that he has to be the guy on this team that's hit in the hardest luck....he's hitting about .250 or so but with any kind of luck he'd be at .275. This guy's got a job here as long he wants one.

Can't watch right now - Did someone score while he held the ball? Or did he stay on second on a fly ball to deep right center?
Or is this now just a euphemism for grounding into a DP?
They dont need to worry about DH again this year, just have 1 game left against an AL team, a make up game at home against KC

Yet he wasn't good enough to be an All StarJAKE ARRIETA IS FIRST IN MLB TO 15 WINS
The RHP, who hit the mark by fanning seven batters in six innings Thursday, is only the 6th Cubs pitcher in the modern era (since 1900) to be the first in MLB to 15 wins and first since Greg Maddux in 1988. (via Elias)
