Tired of Joe talking shit on Beckham when he doesn't get a hit once.

.250 hitter. He's gonna get on base only every couple times.

And he's having a great night. I'm happy with him at 2nd if he's hitting .250ish.

Anything to defend your boy huh.

Excellent game. Not an awful start by axelrod. Need to win tomorrow and get this series

Axelrod will be plenty good enough to fill in for Humber I'm thinking. And really hope that he stays in the bullpen when Humber comes back.

He's a lot better LR than Stewart ever has been or will be.

Unless you're blind, you would realize that he had a good game tonight. I'm not saying that he's the greatest hitter in the world, but he's good enough for the White Sox.

Sox are never going to have a guy like Pedroia, but Beckham has a glove that's probably better than his is and hits well enough to stay there.

If you're hitting .250 you will only get on base 1/4 of the time. So going 1/4 each night is good enough for me. Anything more is a gift and a good night.

Find it hilarious people can shit on Rios, yet he has the 2nd highest avg on the team.

I'll shit on Beckham til he actually hits consistently..which may be never.

Because his numbers have taking a shit since his rookie season.

Rios makes a shit ton of money.

Beckham doesn't.

And nobody said that Rios was bad. He's hitting well, and I won't deny that. But he's making a ton of money that is the amount that should be given to a player that hits a lot better than him. All people said is that if a team is going to take that salary off your hands and give something good in return, you do it without blinking.

Beckham has played better than people expected and is finally going to become what the Sox need at 2B. He has great defense and now the offense is backing it up.

We need nothing back for Rios. Zero just like the Jays. The salary relief is enough

But if you can get something that's great.

When I heard that the Giants might give up Lincecum for Rios, I flipped. If those rumors are anywhere close to true at the trade deadline the Sox need to jump on it.

Right now would be a great time for Beckham to get a clutch hit.

Peavy should get comeback player of the year as of right now.

no offense to Dunn, but no .217 hitter should win it.

Batting average isn't everything. When are you going to get that into your head?

Leads the league in HR and walks. That's all the Sox need from him. He's been doing his job at the plate and done a good job at 1st giving Paulie some rest. Dunn deserves it.

yeah but leading in HRs, and walks plus comparing numbers from last year he is easily comeback player of the year.

but BA is everything....maybe Rios should be comeback player of the year because of his BA.
