If Castro can continue to improve his power numbers the Cubs lineup is going to have 4-6 guys that can hit at least 20 HR in their lineup in about 2-3 years

I love the power potential this team has. We haven't had a player with 40 HRs since Lee in 2005. Although I think Bryant will change that within a year or two.

Yeah I was thinking at least

Castro
Rizzo
Baez
Bryant

Then there are potential FA's, Soler, and Schwarber that could also add 20 HR depending on how they develop. Rizzo, Baez, and Bryant could each make runs at 30+

He already tied his homerun total from last year. He is on pace for 24 this year.

Amazing when a player goes 1 for 5 and their BA goes up.

Getting little ahead of our selves. Rizzo has not broken 25 HR in a season yet.

Baez is hitting .219 in AAA
Bryant is hitting AA pitching.
Schwarber is in A-
Soler can't keep healthy.

Fair on Baez. I noted that for Soler and Schwarber we have to wait a little to see how they develop. Rizzo has 14 this season, and is projected to hit 33 if he continues at this pace. Also he is just 24 year old, it isn't unreasonable to think his power will improve over the next few years. Bryant hasn't just been hitting AA pitching he's been absolutely abolishing it, but yes time will tell on all of them
