Alcantara is hitless on the season. But on Saturday, he walked twice on 4 PA's, and scored both times. On Sunday, he reached on an error, stole second, and scored on a single. I just think the kid makes things happen more than some others. Even without a hit yet, he makes plays.

Doubt they make a switch. If they did it would presumably be for Baez. Also, I think they're willing to give alcantara a long leash considering he's walking at a decent rate. I've said it else where but they really just aren't throwing him much to hit. Not entirely sure how you go about changing that without moving him in the line up. Clearly they aren't afraid to walk him presently.

He was beaned in the wrist. At 1st it looked very bad, but he actually was able to pinch hit yesterday.
