Schlitter should never even look at the pen ever again. If they tell him to warm up he needs to just say no.

REALLY jealous of those who got to watch em take the lead! Hate following along online.

Looks like another tough lost. ...
Think i may have to lower my expectations a bit, otherwise im not gonna make it all season

I'm back in the WS or bust mode :D

What a great win. Great night for the 1-5 guys in the order. Castillo had a good game, and Wood looked pretty good as well.

The middle of the pen has to step up with the injuries though, but gotta love what we are seeing from this team early on

Nice come from behind win! This is the most confident I've felt with the Cubs lineup in years! Just fix the pen!

Comeback Cubs!

This team is starting to look legit. That is already like the 4th come from behind win in the 7th or later.

These guys just keep coming at you. They're young and they're hungry....gotta love that combo.

Get James Russell up here and have the Shitter take one in an Iowa men's room.

What a game... Watched some of it at a Sports Book here in Vegas. A little weird watching the Cubs win a game at 7:30 p.m. But it was awesome!

Rocking my Bryant jersey everywhere in Vegas!

Bryant has reached base 15 times in the last 4 games. One was HBP, and once was on an error. But he has turned and headed back to the dugout 4 times in 4 games, since doing it 4 in Game One.

And he is a VERY good base runner. 1st to 3rd on a hit to LF in 9th, scores winning run because of it. HUGE!

Cubs need to consider bringing up either Ortiz, Russell, or Parker to fix middle relief...

Yes please. Back end of the pen has been good... Jackson in 2 apperances has surprised me. But man Motte, Coke and Schlitter = bad.

I thought Bryant's most impressive at bat was the walk that he battled to load the bases.

man these youngsters don't give a damn that they aren't supposed to be doing these things already lol they see more pitches per AB than everyone else and are 4 - 1 on the road now....certainly not the traits of a young team. go cubbies!

Don't worry. It happened to the Cardinals tonight too. Remember Carlos Villanueva? He gave up a walk off homer in the bottom of the tenth.

Cubs come form behind and pick up a full game on the Cards and Pirates, and the Cubs assured themselves of taking another series, from the pirates no less, who they have struggled to beat for years.

I know it's premature, but I like that these guys are playing together and learning how to win games. Sure they will struggle at some point, but a lot of them are doing more than their fair share.

When is the last time you have seen the Cubs 2-3-4-and 5 hitters all batting over .300? If it has happened, I'll bet it has been a while.

The Cubs still need to win tomorrow to take the series for sure, it's a 4 game set but I agree with you on the order. It is still early, so the stats are skewed but that part of the order has been on fire since Sunday. Crazy what adding 1 bat to a lineup does. Pitchers have to change everything
