So, I've admittedly been highly skeptical about Baez. However, I notice today that he has a 21.7% K rate in 69 PAs. Sample size is still a bit low but it's definitely encouraging and perhaps proves those who've suggested he's changed right. All that being said, I'd still like to see him raise his walk rate because he has still only been a 99 wRC+. I don't want that to sound like I'm taking shots at him again because honestly the first part about the K rate is the most encouraging thing I've seen from him. If that maintains at sub 25% he's got a decent shot at reaching his potential.

I was curious how good Hendricks' FIP has been. I knew it was better than Arrieta which in of itself says something but coming into today he's 6th in the majors among starters in FIP. Pretty nuts.
