Are people blaming Richard? Gennett hit is a fluke hit. Its a high chopper. The pitch was off the plate. The chopper was just an unlucky break.

Fluke or not it a hit and 2 runs scored, he also walked a guy..

Are you watching the game? He intentionally walked a guy. He got a chopper, a ball hit to Baez to get an out at the plate, intentionally walked a guy, and got Guerra. Ill take weak contact all day even if it is a "hit".

Are you watching the game? He intentionally walked a guy. He got a chopper, a ball hit to Baez to get an out at the plate, intentionally walked a guy, and got Guerra. Ill take weak contact all day even if it is a "hit".

I missed the intentional, when I came back to tv just saw batter going to first..

Chopper, bloop, weak contact he still gave up a hit

He sucks, and hits like that happens a lot with pitchers who suck..

Im defending his outing today cause he did his job. Overall, he has sucked but he did well today.

Ok, we all agree the 16 Cubs are not ready for Prime Time. They should spend the next year or so and really prepare to challenge for a WS title. He is what I suggest;

-Fix the bullpen. This revolving door of pieces isnt working
-Get Heyward fixed he is slowly sinking to .200 and leading the league in 4-3 ground outs. He needs a real hitting coach and maybe a Psychiatrist
-Fire current hitting coach
-Teach these ******* to go with the pitch instead of trying to pull everything, leading to endless ground outs
-Teach these clowns to hit a sacrifice fly and bunt
-Give Almora time to fix his swing. With Heyward in RF you cant afford to have 2 OF that can't hit
-Pray that Schwarbie comes back strong
-Handcuff Contreras to a good catcher coach. Kid needs time to learn

Im defending his outing today cause he did his job. Overall, he has sucked but he did well today.

I don't have a problem with Richard's pitching performance overall, I just question the decision to go with a contact guy like Richard with a situation where the bases are loaded and there is only one out.
