Addy is a better hitter than he has shown the past two years. He has a nice stroke. I look for a big jump. I dont say that based on his start, as it is so early. But i look for a nice year at the plate in addition to his stellar D.

Read something earlier in the offseason talking about how his shoulder injury that also hurt his throwing may have sapped some of his power last year. Was a pretty interesting idea. But yeah I agree think he breaks through big this year.

He is no leadoff hitter. I wouldn’t worry about sending him down, but not a leadoff hitter.

I said getting an extra day looks like it did them good..
It probably gave them a day to talk and regroup...
Definately helped with the relievers , they needed an extra day..
Lester looking more refresh and himself tonight, mightve been different if he pitched in the cold and rain tuesday in Cincinnati..
Days off not just about getting rest, Sometimes after a rough couple games it good to have, just to give them a chance to regroup and get their focus back..

Lester super efficient through 5. Usually 15 pitches per inning is really great. He's at 14.2
