I'm not going to respond to his trash. When he gets old enough to appreciate just liking a team regardless if they are good or bad then he will get it.
It is not about the result it is the journey. Mill that over about why you follow anything in life.
Other than that. What a sucky ending to a game. I still believe they need to drop Baez in the order. He is killing the line up.
"It is not about the result it is the journey." - This is one of my favorite proverbs. I was considering saying that to you, but you beat me to it. So you're being pragmatic by not even considering a chance for a WS until we first make the playoffs? Sounds to me like your looking at results rather than the journey.
The Cubs are beginning their journey already. We, as fans, have had to endure the rebuilding, that was hard for me. We are now seeing signs of the journey taking the Cubs to the next step, right now, before a lot of people thought. For me, I'm enjoying the journey right now as I watch my team go from bad to looking like some of the rebuilding pieces contribute.
But I guess your journey won't start until they are a playoff team. It sounds a little fair weather to me. Very pragmatic of you as well. But you also couldn't, once again, make a comment without calling me young, and lecturing me about life? I do pretty well in life so you know.
Looking at your signature alone shows me what kind of fan you are, but hey, that's your right. Unlike you, I won't ridicule you for it. I do wonder, however, why you became a Bolts fan instead of sticking with the Bears? I guess you're being pragmatic again, and your journey will start when the Bears are a playoff team.
