Angel Pagan is sporting some serious lettuce. Very, very much a fan.

Close play, but it looks like Pagan beat it. Awesome throw by Castillo, but Pagan got "just enough" of a jump to beat it. Good tag by Barney, too. Perfect play, Cubs couldn't have done any better. Just a nice jump.

Rizzo would have had a hit there if they were playing DP depth. Some times you just can't get a break.

Neil Ramirez hasn't thrown one breaking ball or off-speed pitch. Glad he got out of that inning with only giving up that leadoff walk.

And guys -- you know what time it is....

About time.

Won 6 out of 9. Not bad for this team.

Cubs at Giants 9:00 PM on CSN

This is an important game for the org.
The team wanted to get Shark a win and they obviously were pressing in his other starts.
I still think his teammates like him and wanted to get it done regardless of how badly the FO and certain fans want him out of here.
Going back to the Hendry Cubs, the team has shown a propensity of taking off, a game or two, after what they figured was a big win.
We'll see tonight.

Sorry, didn't see the thread. Fact remains the same.

**** the Giants! Lets go Cubbies. Funny story, I dont know if I read it here or on another site but Ricky Renteria has cost the Cubs a -5. They should only be 1 game under. Im not saying this pythogram is completely true. Just food for though!

Tim Hudson just does not walk people this year. Less than 1 per 9. Which means our offense likely won't be getting any help. Oh boy!

I really liked the Feldman trade at the time and it is still proving to be a nice trade for us. Let's hope Arrieta can pitch like this for us for 3 more team controlled years.
