Coghlan is the worst hitter in baseball. The Cubs won a game with him playing and you think that proves some point?

I think the record is already his man. By a long way. If only the defense would play a shift for him to go the other way, load up the left side. Heyward would be an all star now if there was no second baseman

Yeah like I was saying yesterday, imagine if the Cubs were struggling like the Nats? This forum would be full of babies crying about how bad the team sucks and not going to make the playoffs, blah, blah,blah. The point is that even the best teams go through bad patches. I don't think it says anything about the Cubs that they have lost 5 out of their last six. Even the best teams go through losing streaks. The Cubs are really feeling the loss of Fowler right now. Because he was such a catalyst for the team this year. It doesn't mean they're going to suck next year without him because he will be replaced. And the lineup of Zobrist, Bryant, Rizzo, Almora, Contreras, Schwarber, Baez, and Soler will be pretty unbeatable.
