Bullpen not looking so hot against a good team. Better get you some American league garbage before it's too late.

Funny how your team SUCKS so bad, resulting in absolute ghost town over there that you come over here and chirp like a little birdy.

Our Bullpen was the not main issue this 3 game series, our bats didn't get it done in the first game hence why we only scored 1 run.

Also we're gonna gladly pass on the AL reliever garbage, it doesn't seem to be working out for the other Chicago team.

You mean, Scherzer, Gonzalez and Strausburg shut down the Cubs offense? You don't say...

With all your negative energy you should take it back to the Sox board and complain about how bad the Sox are and what they need to do...how's that Shields trade working for you. Gonna take more than that stinky hot garbage. LOL Loser.

Now that's funny... a Cubbie fan calling someone else a loser.[emoji38]

Just think fellas... if this were the playoffs, you'd be one game away from elimination.

Makes you wanna jump out a window, don't it?

Cubs fans are notoriously thin-skinned.

Cubs have done nothing until they win a world series, my skin has nothing to do with any of it. I can see when a frustrated dickhead Sox fan has to try and spread his misery, LOL enjoy the rest of your Sox season and stay off the ledge, nah go ahead, jump.

Actually if it was the playoffs, cubs would of already advanced after sweeping them 4 games here..
Cubs 5 Nationals 2
Advantage Cubs

That is all...

I will take our starters doing what they did this series against their best. Rondon isnt going to blow to many games.

You know what would make me want to jump out a window? If I spent over 90 minutes of my life terribly trying to troll the fans of the best team in major league baseball by a significant margin because of the outcome of one game.

I would pick the Nationals tonight and in the series.

Just running into each other at a good time for nats, bad time for cubs.

Werth is waking up, which makes walking Harper costly, and Murphy too. Didn't Madden start that trend this year?

I'm disturbed this is the last series between these two, something tells me they are destined to meet in the NL Championship.

I didn't catch the game.... sorta glad I didn't given he way it turned out. That said, Almora's hitting .353/.353/.529 over his first 19 PAs. Still got some stuff to work on obviously but it's nice to see he can hit good pitching.

Last I recall the Mets lost every single game to the Cubs in the regular season. Regular season at this point is severely overvalued.

Here's what we learned from this series; these are two very good teams, probably the two best in the game right now. You can say what you want about exposing bullpen weaknesses, yada, yada but I don't think this is something the FO didn't know before. Whether they shore up the bullpen by targeting high impact pieces or smaller deals I don't know. If the NLCS started tomorrow with Washington I'd call the series a coin flip. That doesn't tell me anything how either team plays going into the playoffs or who's going to be hot, who's going to be struggling and who is nursing injuries. These teams will almost certainly meet again bu if you're looking for signs of playoff outcomes I think you're a couple of months too early.

The Cubs have a rare opportunity in the next 6 games to exert dominance in their division ans spend the rest of the year working on strengthening their club for the playoffs and this before June is out. It should be a fun 6 days.

They didn't shut down shit you asshole. The Cubs should have won at least 2 out of 3 and won 1 with great hitting. 10 hits is not being shut down. Neither is 9 the night before. Sherzer shut us down but he shuts down everyone and was on his game. I can take two losses out of 7 games played. I would say the best team showed itself and if this series were at Wrigley the Cubs wouldn't have lost a single game...

No the Cubs won 5 out of 7 games played against the Nationals this year. Face it, this is the year for the Cubs and will be the decade of the Cubs. This team is so young and loaded with talent that I would be surprised if they don't win at least 2 or 3 world championships in the next 10 years. It finally going to be good to be a Cubs fan. Im sorry your team sucks and will suck forever. It must suck to have to root for such a shitty team and I know. I've been a Cubs fan for 30 years and most of those years they have sucked ass but this team is as good as any ever assembled.

Almora is for real man. He is awesome and is showing it every time he plays. He hits the ball so crisply and his fielding is top notch. I am super excited about the rest of this year ...

Cubs fans never learn. 30 years and you're still like this? Must be a glutton for punishment.
