Kind of OT, but I'm at the point with this team that I just want to see positive development out of young/struggling hitters more so than I want to see wins. For me, seeing Baez/Soler/Russell/Heyward not strike out, drive the ball, etc matters way more to me than actually winning with this team.
It's kind of like watching the 2014 Cubs again in a way but I want to see them win more than I did that year obviously. But if this game happened last year at this time, I'd not care about any development and just want to see wins. Kind of like they've become so good in a regular season that you pass the point of truly caring about the individual wins and losses.
