My dad had that in the last 5 years. Took him a few weeks to get back to full strength but he got there without too much issue.

Good to know that, thanks. I also had a large abdominal hernia repaired, likely the more difficult of the procedures. And, of course, Prince killing himself with his own inability to handle opiates has made it so that us guys who have had surgeries and really need it are being told "Nope, opiate epidemic, you know. You get to be in only excruciating pain the first week post-surgery, After that, well, we get a cut from the funeral parlors from your suicide epidemic,,,": :(

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Illinois Fighting Illini
He's not bragging about the loss. I think it's more of a message to those people who keep saying nobody is going to catch the Cubs.
Nobody is saying one of the teams isn't going to catch the Cubs. They have said that it is unlikely. 1969 proves that anything can happen in September, but NegativeNelly55 has complained all year. You know what they say...even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Boy, that is a tight curveball. Action is more like a slider.

Schwarbs is the best arm in the majors from left. He is so accurate. We have the best throwing outfield overall.

Exactly. I am not saying it is impossible. I just don't get why you would go an entire season unable to enjoy your team playing well while worrying about what could possibly go wrong. All while there are no signs of it going wrong.

Schwarber with his second triple in two days.

Man, Bautista is awful. :)

Almora with someone on base, is simply inexplicably bad.

People say RBIs don't indicate a batter's true value because of opportunity. But there is no way all batters are equally adept at doing what is needed to get the guy home.

Runner on 3rd with no outs. A guy simply hitting a fly ball won't get much credit, as it is just an out and he had the opportunity. But look how many guys don't.

You know I'm sure glad we spent all of the last 1-2 weeks talking about how this cubs team is going to lose 5 straight to make the NL central race tight while the team is well on it's way to going 10-3 in their last 4(well 5 if you count ATL) series.

Your prediction for the Cubs' winning percentage the rest of the way?
Just took a look on here , left a comment but changed my mind, then i had to leave 3 characters..

I see you all are having great discussions about all 3 games this weekend, ha ha

I think i saw about 12 actual posts towards the 3 games, most by you and Beck..

Too bad how much this board has fallen lately..
Noticed a couple more regulars stopped posting and a couple new guys..
Keep up the good work, Wont be long til it turns into the Sox board, very little action..

Go Cubs

Shocking. Not only are you sure the Cubs are losers, you're sure this forum is a loser, too.

Tied 3-3 in bottom of the 9th, Cards had bases loaded and nobody out, and failed to score.

Reds have just put up 3 in the 10th.

Shocking....
You just proved a point

You made 2 comments on this IGT all weekend, and neither had anything to do with the cubs itself or the games

Enjoy, later

Javy for MVP!

He's pretty much .300/30/100 right now. I say **** his OBP. He's not that type of player, he puts balls in play when he doesn't K.
