I have thought Bryant was overrated for a
Couple years now, his power is always overhyped. How many 30 homer, 100 RBI seasons has he had? One? He doesn’t drive in a lot of runs, strikes out a lot and isn’t clutch. He does however run the bases extremely well and plays good defense. He is hitting well under .100 when there is a runner on 2nd!

You cherry pick stats. Now you ignore when a man is on first or third because you read his average is fluky low when a man is only on second.

You measure success by 1970's stats.

If you look at the Cubs since Bryant has been here, the team offense typically does best when he is hot and worst when he is not. More than any other player on the team, he makes the offense go.
