Somebody in another thread said they thought Edwards could become a closer down the road...I can see that. He has closer stuff.

I can see why but he just doesn't seem to fit that closer type

His stuff is nasty. I definitely think he could be a closer. I'd still like to see on more shot at starting though.

Its pretty even I think, Goldy with a slow start to the season is now hitting around 300 like Rizz. Both are good fielders.

The good: Edwards JR. He's going to be a key piece of the pen going forward. His stuff is really, really good.

KB: Gigantic clutch hit for the good ahead run.

Rizzo: Dominant, beastly game.

Rondon: Hit 99 on the gun. Enormous save.

The bad: Maddon, Zobrist, Baez.

I think it's about equal but Wil Myers is putting up the same kind of numbers this year.

That's kind of debatable. Myers is hitting .290/.355/.528 with 19 HRs. Rizzo is hitting .299/.416/.591 with 21. About the only offensive category Myers has him in is stolen bases.

I said Myers was right with the other 2 and actually is leading in WAR. It's very close.
