June 11 last game. Add to it only 4 games used in June. Makes sense that they used this game as a tune up. I doubt this time out will affect him if needed tomorrow. The following day yes.

I dont get the Davis crap either, they believe once you get him up you have to use him. Yeah, I understand you really should use him after he warms up the first time, not sit him and have him warm up a second dime, but 5 run lead.

Makes me think about Lester throwing 250 pitches in the bullpen during game 7.
