Sitting Schwarber vs a lefty is fine but you really don't want to look at 10 game samples. It's effectively pointless data because the swings from one good game or one bad game can disproportionally effect results. For example, if you go 10 games he's hitting .163/.234/.465 but if you go 11 games its .208/.269/.542 which is 45 points higher. If you want to talk about sample sizes you really shouldn't seriously consider anything under 100 PAs which is basically what he's done in August at 97 PAs where he's hitting .238/.340/.512. The batting average is still pretty shit but the on base is quite good and the slugging is clearly very good.
I was basically making a point as to why he sitting tonight against the lefty..
Yea he hit 2 homers last night against bum relievers late in a lopsided game..
But
He still struggled earlier in Game and has been struggling lately again..
Hence the last 10-11 games stretch..
Also..
The doubles and homers are great and I'll take them all day from him..
But
You know when he has 6 hits in 30 AB , just because 3 are homers dont make it ok for him to be hitting .200 in that span...
That is all [emoji6][emoji6]
