My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Maryland Terrapins
Teams also ride hot streaks. The Nationals were riding one and last week I would have told yuns that they could be the most dangerous team in the playoffs

Twins and Cards won the series having seemingly similar years as the Cubs. Get in the playoffs, anything can happen.

You have it marked man. It is a marathon and not a sprint. I would generally like to see this team in the playoffs to see what shakes out, but my thoughts equal yours; this is no series team. I do enjoy the ride along the way and get irritated when some posters over react to losses.

Cubs are indeed injured still too. If Rizzo, Contreras, Darvish, Strope all come back and collectively put together a fighters chance, I'd support that. Maybe we win a NLDS? I am not going to stop being a fan if this banged up strange under achieving squad reached the NLCS.

In my eyes, we got our championship. And we got it early as ****! Maybe we peaked???? Sure I want more. But we already got what we were all after and to see certain fans and posters over reacting is sad.

That's the thing. The Cubs won a World Series and we got to live it. But being a Bulls and Hawks fan as I'm sure a lot of you are as well....we know that while it's very to cool win another, the reality is that they never are quite the same as the first. I mean there are little extras you can enjoy like winning one at home like the Bulls and Hawks both did but they never measure up to #1. Winning the second one never seems like something to celebrate....more like a relief.

I love all the celebrating and patting on the back going on after a single win. In case you guys didn't notice, Cubs remain 3 back in the L column.

Do we recover from such a drastic 3 game obstacle? 20 plus games to play? Is there a chance?

Never said there wasn't a chance. I just don't understand all the celebration and shit talking that goes on here after each win.

I would rather have the Cubs be like the Yankees, Dodgers and the Braves. Always in the chase year in and out. Vs the Royals, Twins and White Sox doing 1 short window per 20 years.

That really comes down to market size and not being stupid with the farm. Theo got dumb selling off like he did.
