He has mostly struggled all year. That can't be ignored simple because of past reliability. Strop needs to right the ship. If he does, along with the expected return of Morrow, this team could have a very good bullpen come playoff time.

Strop has earned not to have a short lease in his career. I agree if he continues to struggle then they will re think it. But, as of right now, he is our undisputed 8th inning guy and Joe is going to treat him like CloserB. You live or die by them.

He should be back for the stretch run. He is healthy. He is filthy. I will take him any day of the week.
