Disagree. 10.3%/44.8%/44.8% soft/med/hard contact this year vs 16.8%/43.0%/40.2% last year. That's not including today but you get the point. Also .231 BABIP isn't sustainable. 79.8% contact vs 72.0% last year. Not saying he's fully there to where he needs to be but those are encouraging signs.

Thing is so far this year he has struck out 1/3 of his ABs and does it really matter how hard he hitting the ball if he hitting them at someone in the shift..
I'm not saying his numbers wont all of a sudden start improving, but were seeing now what weve basically been seein the last few years from him..
He'll hit a couple bombs and then look awful for a few games, couple bombs look awful, repeat repeat repeat....
