Arrieta seems to have grooved out the past 2 innings. at 17 or so pitches an inning now. Szczur has been pretty ridiculous this year. I had very little confidence in him coming into the year but it appears I was wrong on him.

Pirates broadcast just said Baez only has 3 walks on the year before the one earlier. I had to look that up cuz I didn't think there was any way that could be accurate but apparently it is. Knew his walk rate was low but that's more than I was expecting.

Yea, its lower than I expect it to be. He did say he just started focusing on hitting about 3 weeks ago. He said he had to concentrate hard on defense cause he was playing so many positions.

I don't care what happened in the first inning after a pitcher walks two in a row (one being the pitcher) along with a WP...you don't swing at the first pitch. Just stupid baseball.
