Pretty solid line-up thus far. Alexi is headed to the all-star game as is Abreau. Viciedo has shown good patience and good contact. The Cuban connection is outstanding!

I do not know, but the transformation of these hitters(FLowers???????) has been unbelievable. Is it Stephenson? Even Dunn is hitting .270!!! How in the hell is this possible?

Have you seen the quickness of Abreau's bat? He doesn't have a long swing. He really flicks the bat at the ball at the last second. I don't know if I've seen the kind of "twitch" like he does. I only hope that he doesn't get hurt by guys who want to hurt him intentionally. It'll happen. It happened to Frank.

He can't be dealt. I mean he could, but you'd get less than zero for him. He has to play to build value. If he isn't cutting it by the end of June I think you see him in a reserved role. If he is average, he plays the season out as the starter. If he's a star, than a trade gets made here. Otherwise I think non-tender is the answer this Winter.

Hey, our #7s were good enough... I live in Tampa. Watching the Rays is painful. They are good (I like good pitching and d as much as the next guy), but they boring as hell. They have 7 hitters in the line-up that don't swing the bat until at least the 3rd pitch. On top of that, Dwayne Stats is the human sleeping pill. Remember him???

Hopefully he will bring his average up. What I am really getting at is that they should try and get rid of his contract in order to bring in a pitcher. He does have value but I think that we have better talent behind him.

one, his contract is not bad at all.
two, no one is going to give us a pitcher for Gordon IMO at this point.

Beckham had a good season last year and is a solid defensive player. He certainly could be traded for a pitcher.
