I was pretty vocal that I wanted to trade him. He was the guy you try to sell high on with a career year. The Cubs didnt do it because he was cheap.

Vitters went deep twice tonight with 4 RBI's. Baez another tough night with 0-4 with 2 K's but he did walk in his final at bat. I didnt get to see the game but his two hit balls were supposively hit well.

If ya really think about it, at this point right now unless someone catches fire heading into July.. Their not going to get much of anything from anyone on this team besides Hammel and samardzija if they decide to trade them...
Which makes me think we may see a couple farm boys by July

whats this serious problem with chris sale? do you have some sort of inside scoop because all im hearing is his 40 pitch bp session was fine, another one coming and a rehab assignment in 2 weeks. so elaborate on your inside track to this "serious" problem he has.

Least Jackson pitched well tonight. I'm not holding out hope of him being good but if he can at least be a 4-ish ERA guy they are getting some value on him. Offense looks terrible. Castro, Rizzo, Bonifaco and Castillo are like the only ones hitting and Castillo and Castro aren't exactly tearing up they are just playing decent. I wish they'd at least try something different.
