Sox just need to have some offense and good pitching in the same game.

Mostly the offense part because that's been lacking a lot in this series.

Those things happen in baseball. Offenses go up and down. Sox fans had to know that the kind of offense that the Sox were having wasn't going to stay forever.

Last night wasn't very good at all and could've been a lot better, but don't expect the Sox to be like they were during that streak for the rest of the year.

Sox just need to figure out the offense in this game. Peavy will probably take care of the rest. Get some hits, score some runs, and leave the rest to Peavy and the defense. Seems like a good plan to win.

difference is:

1st place

not worst team in baseball.

AS I have explained many times, its the teams that suck that I cannot stand doing it.

Quit being grumpy...

And as I've shown in the past all teams do this, even bad ones...

They had a two game losing streak and haven't been as on fire. I think there's reason to be celebrating not being swept when they're trying to win a division.

But you wouldn't know because you haven't been close to winning a division in a couple years.
