Apparently the snow may continue into tomorrow, which would jeopardize tomorrow afternoon's 11:05 AM CT game as well.

Da Aza rules. Finally, a white Sox leadoff man who doesn't swing a wet noodle.

so far it looks like I was wrong about de aza. I admit it.

I haven't been on here in a while, so I have no idea what your opinions on him have been, but I can guess... I mean there has to be a reason he's just now starting for an MLB club at 28.

But if you look at his numbers on fangraphs, he's shown good plate discipline and pop at every level. No stats for '08 though, if he missed a whole year due to injury that might partially explain his difficulty cracking the FLA lineup.

i questioned his defense, and questioned his at bats. i saw all his numbers and they did look impressive I just have a hard time trusting any spects, and the age played a role. maybe he is coming into his own.

id still rather have dome in RF over Rios thats is for certain.

Stop pitching Oh-man for more than 2 batters, let alone an inning & a half.

I'm not sure about De Aza's defense either... not enough sample to use stats, and I honestly didn't watch enough towards the end of last year to use the eye test. I hear people say positive things about his defense, but I also realize that people tend to vastly overrate speedy outfielders' D.

I also would prefer Fukudome over Rios... even though Rios is a much better player at his best, I hate his guts.

And Viciedo may be worse fielder than Pierre in left. Good gawd.
