I like how Hawk just said if you're just tuning in. Who watches only the 8th and 9th of a game?

But if Sale keeps dominating I guess it's cool to keep him in. I'm just worried about what it holds in the future.

Yeah. But it's not exactly smart.

He is great with working with mechanics and Leo Mazzone had the same notion and none of his pitchers ever seemed to go down. That said I would agree with you.

Something I just noticed is that Sale is kind of like Buehrle in that he doesn't take much time at all in between pitches.

That could be AJ too, but Sale works fast.

It's just not worth the chance. Because it's not like our bullpen is going to give up 7 runs in two innings. Gotta take him out because he's young and we need him for years to come. Not just this year.

Again I agree, but I am just giving the explanation that I can see for the decision. Cooper is a great pitching coach but a lot of his beliefs are very old school. It has worked so far for the Sox, and hopefully for your guys sake it works with Sale.

Why is Stewart in the pen? It'll be the 9th inning...

Yes Sale being in there is just rookie mistakes by Robin

Coop probably has a part in that too. Not just Robin being a rookie.

Just makes no sense that Stewart is the one warming up.

Beckham's pop-up lost in the sun and they call it a hit.

Bases loaded with no outs.
