Injuries galore for the Cardinals. No Berkman for a while, no Carpenter for who knows how long. Jay is still hurt so that hurts defensively and offensively. McClellan on DL so that hurts a bullpen that has struggled all year. Craig, Beltran and Holliday are all playing at about 80% health. Freese and Furcal are injuries waiting to happen. Wainwright is still well below the usual Tommy John full comeback timetable. Lance Lynn is probably the best pitcher on the team right now, but an argument could be made for Kyle Lohse.

New manager Matheny is still learning on the go, but really makes some questionable decisions with the bullpen.

I really think that if the White Sox play like they should play, they can sweep. Just not willing to say that right now.

If I really had to choose, I'd say that the Sox win the first two games and lose the last game.

The Sox still are a division winning team. They just have to get their bats working and have pitching be average or better too.
