That's a pretty good win for the Sox. Taking a win out of playing like shit on offense basically the whole game. Axelrod was good. Reed good too.

This is huge going forward in this series and even the next one against the Rangers. This win could help the Sox win this series. Lots of confidence.

Hope this means the Sox might get 4/7 of the next two series.

You call a lot in your head. Take a risk and post it

That's because I'm a :homer:

I always hope for a homer in my head. Did that hardcore when Konerko was up with the bases loaded in game 2 of the World Series. And then pissed my pants with how happy I was.

which was unexpected. a team finally gave us a game instead of us always giving teams a game.

Yeah it was nice. When that double play failed, I felt like the Sox got a break for the first time in a long time.

pretty cool tidbit before tonight's game:

The White Sox take infield practice after BP before the first game of every series, one of the changes made by new manager Robin Ventura this year.

On Thursday, however, Chicago took a unique approach to the drills -- they didn't use a ball. The players mimed catching the ball and whipping it around the infield, even turning double plays. Several players left the field with a smile.

That's awesome. Taking infield is always fun because I know at least for me it always relaxed me before the game cause you're just out there with the guys.

Nice to see that applied to the big leagues.

Quintana's scoreless inning streak ends at 16. Gives up to run homer to Granderson in the first inning.

Double By Jones and it's 4-0 Yankees. Looks like the Sox have no chance tonight.

White Sox offense have to beat up the Yankees rookie pitcher. Gonna need a bunch of runs to back up Quintana and whoever else pitches tonight.
