I don't think there has been a left-handed catcher, 2B, SS, or 3B in the majors for at least three decades. Especially for the IF guys, they have to turn weird if they're lefty. But it can work, it just looks really strange and Little League/parents/coaches pretty much "persuade" lefties to go to the OF or pitch.

Plus we need him to pitch. He's pretty good at it. Unless he plays third on his off days haha, but shit, Valbuena hasn't been so bad himself.
