Ok..No, although as good as the rest of Chatwood’s numbers are if he didn’t have a horrific 7.65 BB/9 he’d be a lot better than most #5s.
Russel looks so lost at the plate...
Ok..
Tell me how we got here from my response to the guy who mentioned his walks?

LolLooking at his line: 5 IP. 3 hits. 5 BB 6 SO. Reminds me of Arrieta when he had the walk bug.
Have a game WillSon

Think that basically what were gonna get out of Chatwood this year..
It fine as long as he not giving up a bunch of hits or Hrs following the walks..
Only thing is , probably shouldn't expect many games pass 5 innings from him

How have the Cubs done against good teams this year?
Yea..I mean his career walk rate isn't 7.5 per 9. It's roughly half that. There's certainly room for improvement that's not a pipe dream. I'm wondering if he's just more used to having to throw his stuff in colorado and doesn't have a feel for it away from there yet because his stuff is fairly filthy for a back of the rotation start. You're talking 9.08 k/9.
7 and 1 against the first place brewersHow have the Cubs done against good teams this year?

It's a rhetorical question. Have someone explain rhetorical to youIf only there were some sort of "baseball reference" site that contained this very information...
