Shark could be first starting pitcher to start an AllStar game and not have a win.......

Blown saves happen to all teams not just the cubs.

Well, there ya go. That's the answer to everything. It happens to all teams, so the fact that they've had all of 12 fucking chances for saves the whole season and have blown half of them makes it Okay, because ALL TEAMS DO IT.

One thing that "all" teams do NOT do is go over a hundred fucking years without a championship.

That is a Chicago Cubs exclusive.

Pittsburgh is 10 out of 20.
Mets are 8 out of 16
Houston is 8 out of 16
Oakland is 8 out of 16
Colorado is 9 out of 19
Cincinatti is 7 out of 15

Oakland is the best team in baseball. As I said before, this happens all the time. It's not the sole cause of why the cubs are bad. The cubs are bad because they can't score runs. As I said before, if you want to say the cubs suck fine but this hardly is the reason why.

I was watching Heat/Pacers last night and taking an exam this afternoon.

Got home just in time to see a classic Cub implosion.

There's been a lot of games like this that show the cubs lack of hitting/ability to score. 2 runs in 12 innings thus far. We had opening day with 0 in 10. We had the second game of the season with 3 in 16. Frankly, I am worried they will end up losing this game because they can't score.

Yankees bats haven't been all that exciting either with 3 runs in 21 innings til now..

Was hoping cubs could scratch 1 more before their bats woke up, not happening....

Lol, knew the scoring was coming with Veras in. Barney and Veras shouldnt be on a major league roster.

Veras has been pretty horrible but I still don't think the bullpen is the one to blame. NL average last year was 4 runs a game. So, 2 runs in 12 innings just isn't cutting it. 0 for 9 on Castro and Rizzzo today though Rizzo at least basically was on base 50% of the time with 3 walks.

I didnt say bullpen. I said Veras. Castro had a bad day. Rizzo swung at 2 pitches that hit him. Your defensive replacement pulls a rookie play. Its what bad teams do. They lose every way possible.

I'm not saying you were suggesting that just stating my feeling is the cubs lost by allowing the Yanks to be that close. If the cubs had scored 3-4 runs which is an average per game then blowing 2 runs in the 9th doesn't matter.

I was at the game. Spent $9 on a ticket in the 222 section to see Jeter. Really thought they had this game and then they imploded...
