If the Bears turn to Harbaugh, I could see them run Fields back one more season under the new coach and OC after building around him in the draft and FA and they likely trade back for quite a haul if they plan to spend pick on McCarthy and pick up some talent with a number of round 1 picks. I'm of the opinion that the quantity of draft picks plays a bigger role than the higher round ones because the draft is a game of playing the odds and increasing the chances of hitting is your best probability play.

McCarthy could be a good pro QB but he is not even close to ready. But he has the tools necessary to succeed. One thing he still struggles with is down field accuracy. Kinda like Jordan Love. But he has good pocket presence... something he struggled with last year. And he has a good arm and mobility. He can throw guys open. Probably needs to sit a year. I would have no issue with taking him with our 2nd pick.

Harbaugh could force the Bears to change their color scheme if hired.

My opinion on this matter probaby wouldn't add much value to this thread so I'll leave it at that. With that said, if Harbaugh is hired as the HC and has the power to pick his QB and he picks JJ, I'll be first in line to drink the Kool-aid and bust down some brick walls.

Pretty good discussion with Nick Baumardner regarding Harbaugh.

Does that mean anything? My reaction would be ? For the record I never react to the draft. I don't scout college players and only know a little about the top ten prospects in today's world. I just don't have time to follow any more then Da Bears and ND anymore.
