There was another play at soldier field where Mooney killed Ramsey deep in a double move. Was wiiiide open and foles overthrew him. Mooney should have had 2 TDs on Ramsey

That was on Foles because he caught the defense telegraphing the blitz presnap on a hard count. Yet he threw the ball off his back foot as if he was totally surprised by the blitz. He knew the blitz was coming, he just didn’t have the courage to follow through with his pass.

Good question. Maybe it was in LA…but I distinctly remember such a play on prime time and Mooney ran an amazing route and nick just missed him

Did he? Looks to me like he absorbed the rush of the player that was in front of him and that player did not get near the QB. The problem was the blitzer next to him that nobody accounted for. We cant expect Leno to block two guys at once.
