I will also say, I doubt the lions trade him. They have all the leverage and if he plays well they likely will be willing to pay him after this season. They have the money to do so.

Seems like a moron being a moron. You dont hold out for a payday after one good season after your first 2 made you look like a giant bust. Maybe they aren't planning on picking up his 5th year option? No clue why they wouldnt, but If so maybe thats why he's being a malcontent.
He is not holding out, where do you come up with that? He didn't "unfollow the Lions" from what I am hearing, he had never followed them in the first place. Hell, maybe he doesn't even have an instagram account.

Should Williams be traded they do make more sense. That being said I can't see him being traded this year. This next offseason is more likely, when contract extensions for Gibbs, Branch and LaPorta have to be made.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Miami Hurricanes
  2. Northern Illinois Huskies
At a certain point you gotta build thru the draft and have cost controlled players for 4+ years.

I don't think we'd be in for regardless but just stating my opinion.

He's a pain in the ass, but I'm quite sure the Lions are not about to bend over to help the Bears out in the same off-season their OC left them to come here.

I'm hoping the Lions hang on to Williams, while I agree waiting till next year would make some sense, moving him now with 2 years of control would bring back the bigger return
