What's wrong with Tebow being #30? Seems about fair to me. I actually think he's better than that pudwhack who is starting ahead of him right now.

Dilfer had one of the best defenses of all time

Denver had a mediocre defense at best.

i don't like the comparison either, but in tebow's winning streak..four out of the 6 games..the defense held the other teams to a maximum of 13 points(two of those games went to OT btw)

von got limited a bit by his thumb injury after the san diego game..and that hurt the D a little because von had established himself as one of the best defenders in the AFC as well as one of the cornerstone defenders for denver

in addition, von had not really established himself on the team in the first month...it wasn't until around mid-october or so that he established himself defensively...even for a top pick you still have a transition period

and no coincidence that his best stats were in november, when the team was 4-0

the point is that denver's defense helped tebow out quite a bit in certain situations...

B/C it looks like a token pick based upon popularity yet again, kind of like "let's get him out of the way so it isn't an issue". He hasn't proven he's even an NFL starter yet, so logic says he shouldn't be on the list at all.

I do believe he will one day be a starter somewhere b/c he has enough humility to recognize he's not a very accurate passer right now, and for that reason I think he'll get better.

As of right now he's a bad NFL quarterback, hence the #30 ranking. Pretty much he's ranked as the worst starter from last season as Indy and Wash look to have new starters this season. #30 is fair imo. However, him being in the NFL top 100 on NFL Network is a shame.

If there was a fantasy draft TODAY, your telling me in the top 30 teams to draft a starting quarterback you wouldn't take Tebow. Talking about the 30 best quarterbacks RIGHT NOW, you would rather have Ryan Tannehill in Miami over Tebow, or Tavaris Jackson in Seattle over Tebow? I tihnk Tebow belongs in this top 30 for that reason alone.

I'd take 3 that are currently on the Bears roster over Tebow.

How can we even compare in June?, this is a list you do in week 8 or so after the dust settles.

Why does ESPN even bother with a top 30? Nobody gives a **** about anyone outside the top 10 on a quarterback list. Shit, start at 10 next time, Jaws. At least there could be some compelling arguments made on, say, why somebody would put Drew Brees over Aaron Rodgers or where Ben Roethlisberger belongs in the top 10. I'd at least watch that. But a top 30? Sorry, nobody cares where Tavaris Jackson or Matt Moore are ranked.

Is Caleb Hanie gonna crack the top 30?

If he does...I'm betting ESPN will cite the NFCCG

What else is ESPN going to talk about football wise?

10. Tony Romo, ranked low b/c I don't like him but can't leave off b/c his stats are too good.

Your turn.

SMH....Fantasy football and real life football are two completely different things. I would probably take Tebow over a bunch of QBs better than him, simply because of the points he gets off rushing yards and TDs. His fantasy football production is his ability to go on the football field and be productive and efficient are apples and oranges.

People need to stop confusing FF with real life football.

Id say top 15 but overall i agree with what youre trying to say. But as mentioned, what else will they talk about? But if theyre going to go as far as 30, why not just go 32?

I don't think he's talking about fantasy football, I think he's saying he'd take Tim Tebow over some to start a franchise. I'd probably take Josh McCown over Tim Tebow.

Oh i think youre right. He just said fantasy. My fault.

If thats the case, Tebow would still be way down there. Theres a few backups i would take over him.
