yeah, because here comes one now (me). so that means he is barely over 50% on all other downs (34/62), which is, of course, clearly not good.
but if there is a silver lining to this, in my opinion, it's that he's been more clutch/poised when teams are more apt to know he's throwing the ball.
the not silver lining is that his poor % on other downs is indicative of his getting lazy and sloppy and then missing open targets. just wish Jay could make the effort to put it all together... maybe he
has tried and it simply is what it is, and just not in the cards for the talented athlete with the live arm.
