I'd happily start him if we had a solid O-line, but in truth we have one solid piece and a bunch of just under average pieces. With no running game to speak of, how is anyone likely to succeed Run and Shoot? I mean honestly, if you have no play action, you are fucked.
Carden can taking a hit, he is wiry, gritty and a leader, but he needs a supporting cast.

I don't think people like Fales or Carden are anything special. I just think Cutler blows and I'm sick of his mediocre ***** ass leading the Bears.

Why? Go and read about the kid and watch the pro youtube videos of him. With the right coaching he could easily become a starter in this league. Maybe not HoF or All pro, but he has some chutzpah about him.
