Why? Go and read about the kid and watch the pro youtube videos of him. With the right coaching he could easily become a starter in this league. Maybe not HoF or All pro, but he has some chutzpah about him.

Only if he has an elite front line right?

Nope, I never said that, I said an improved front 5, you need above average. Elite? There really are only a few of those in decades and it's as much the coaching as it is the talent.

so you want a better front line than what Cutler had? Hmmmm, interesting.

I don't think people like Fales or Carden are anything special. I just think Cutler blows and I'm sick of his mediocre ***** ass leading the Bears.

It's not so much that Carden or Fales are better than Cutler...obviously Cutler is a better overall talent at this moment. But I would rather watch another QB come in who I have low expectations for and have them end up exceeding those expectations than to continue watching Cutler fall short of his expectations year in and year out.

believe it or not I agree with you on this post. I'd prefer Fales first though.

Cutler doesn't help his linemen out, he shouts at them about tying their shoe laces. Tut tut tut.
huh? I thought the linemen were there to help him.

If that's true then he's better than Cutler from day 1.

Carden all day every day please.

Last year he had 30 TDs and 10 INTs with 4700 yards. Sure his arm isn't the greatest but he knows where to go with the ball and quickly. They play some decent defenses every year here lately too.

I'm not saying he's definitely going to to make it though. I would love to see him do it, but i realize it's a long shot. The staff saw something they liked way before the draft.

After watching, I don't think his release is quite as long as "throwing a javelin." I mean, at least he doesn't have a Byron Leftwich release.

I love mick but still cracks me up when he was saying fales was qb of future and then of course the past like 3 years so many on here believe the Bears are gonna get a qb THIS YEAR!

And then it doesn't happen lol

The only thing I like about Shane is that he can stand in the pocket with guys up on him. He is fearless but who wants a Brett Favre lookalike.

The one thing I like about him is that we didn't waste a draft pick on him lol...
